Fall 2018 Chess Class

Welcome to the new chess class at Gwynedd-Mercy Academy! This class is great for both new students / beginner and those that have taken our class before or are advanced players. Metro Chess has a unique method of teaching chess that fosters many different life skills such as planning skills, calculation, sportsmanship and creative visualization. Our instructors have experience with students at all level and ages. Beginners will learn the basics and rules while intermediate and advanced students will learn strategy and tactics. All students will receive a copy of our Standard Chess Workbook depending on their skill level.

Class time is 3:15 - 4:15 PM on the following Thursdays: 10/18, 10/25, 11/08, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/3, 1/10 (make up class if needed)
